QUELAH POOL & TENNIS COURT ACCESS (for use by Quelah owners & rental guests only)
POOL & TENNIS COURT KEYS & ENTRY:
The Association of Unit Owners ask that all owners, guests of owners and all rental guests use the appropriate key. Climbing over the pool or tennis court fence is prohibited. Unknown persons asking to have the gate opened for them should be directed to return to the Quelah unit where they are staying to obtain their pool key. Contact your rental host if no key is in your rental unit. Proof of your Quelah rental confirmation will be required by the pool monitor for access. Rental guests staying at other nearby homes or condominiums are not allowed. This also means that a Quelah rental guest may not invite friends or family staying at another nearby condo or home 'to be their guest' at either the Quelah pool or courts. Renters desiring the use of Quelah facilities should be renting a Quelah condo. Those choosing to rent elsewhere have the option of using SHARC Aquatic Center or the Sunriver Fitness Center. Quelah’s facilities are for use by Quelah Owners & Quelah Renters only. Quelah Owners and their immediate families are entitled to invite their guests and friends. Quelah Renters are not allowed to invite Guests not staying in a Quelah Condo.
All owners & guests are required to present their Quelah pool key and their identification to the pool monitor (when on duty) prior to pool entry. All owners and guests are required to register (sign-in) to the pool monitor’s log book. Owner names given will be confirmed on the Quelah’s owner List. Rental guests must provide their reservation rental confirmation to the pool monitor. Required sign-in info: (1) names & number of guests staying in the unit, (2) rental unit number, (3) rental agency or owners name, Quelah rental confirmation. If a person rents both a property outside of the Quelah condos, such as a Skyline condo or other unit and a Quelah condo, only the people staying in Quelah condo have access.
The Pool Monitor will put removable wristbands on all owners & guests prior to admission. Guests may reuse their wristbands as they come and go on subsequent days. However, those wristbands must be worn prior to pool or spa facility entry. Children under 5 years of age are not required to wear a wristband.
Oregon law does not permit unaccompanied minors under the age of 14 to be in a pool area without a lifeguard or adult supervision. There are several units owned by corporations or an LLC that allows it’s employees or guests to use the unit. Employees or company guests must have a Quelah key to enter.
Only the owners of a Quelah LLC or Corporation are allowed to have guests. The employees or guests & renters of a family LLC are NOT ALLOWED to bring their friends.
Maximum occupancy is either 6 people for 2 bedroom units and 8 people for 3 bedroom units. Children under 5 years old are not included in these occupancy limits.
The Pool Monitor is authorized to call the Sunriver Police Department dispatch at 541-593-1014 for any trespass or rule violations for the Pool or Tennis Courts that can not be resolved.
Food and Beverages in plastic containers are allowed in the pool, spa and tennis areas.
GLASS IS NOT ALLOWED inside the pool or spa facility as broken glass closes the pool.
To protect the pool and spa from vandalism and abuse, PLEASE DO NOT OPEN THE GATE for anyone who is not wearing a Quelah wristband or who does not have a Quelah pool key. Trespasser’s are subject to prosecution and a fine of $1250 or 90 days (ORS: 161.6 35 & 164.245)
These rules apply 24/7 year round and enforced by the pool monitor when on duty. When the pool is closed for the season, owners and permitted guests may remove the spa cover but please replace it after using the spa. Use of the tennis courts is not permitted when the nets are down.
QUELAH SERVICE ANIMAL POLICY:
SERVICE ANIMALS ARE WELCOME, BUT MUST BE HARNESSED, LEASHED OR TETHERED, UNLESS THE DEVICE INTERFERES WITH THE ANIMAL’S WORK NO ANIMALS, INCLUDING SERVICE ANIMALS, ARE ALLOWED IN THE POOL OR SPA AT ANY TIME A SERVICE ANIMAL IS LIMITED TO A DOG THAT IS TRAINED TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE OR PERFORM SPECIFIC TASKS FOR A PERSON WITH A DISABILITY COMFORT OR EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS DO NOT QUALIFY AS SERVICE ANIMALS SERVICE ANIMALS ARE WORKING ANIMALS, NOT PETS YOU MAY BE ASKED WHAT SERVICE THE ANIMAL PROVIDES
TENNIS & PICKLEBALL COURT RULES: Only USAPA (United States PickleBall Association) approved 'green zone' paddles may be used. USAPA approved paddles are available from the on court storage locker for players who do not have approved paddles. The USAPA approval must be printed on the face your paddle to be used. We also require all players to to use the new style foam-like balls from Gamma Sports (supplied) to help combat the noise annoyance for our owners & guests who live in close proximity to our courts.
Gamma foam balls bounce & play similar to the standard hard plastic balls but may take a little getting used to. The new foam-like balls are much quieter and do not 'POP' when hit during hard play.
Guests can use traditional equipment & balls at Fort Rock Park which provides an alternative for play other than simply not playing. You will be asked to leave the court if you play with non USAPA approved paddles or use the traditional hard plastic balls.
Courts are for Tennis and PickleBall use only. All other activities are prohibited. Covid-19 protocols & social distancing of guests are required. USAPA approved paddles & Gamma foam quiet balls only. No black or dark soled shoes. No remote controlled toys. No skateboards or bicycles. No non-service dogs or emotional support animals allowed. No climbing of fences.
Protect your property, please keep courts locked at all times. If there is a situation that cannot be resolved by polite request, please notify the Pool/Tennis Monitor when on duty, or Duane Liebelt, a resident member of the Quelah Board at Unit 1 across from the pool. or call the Sunriver Police Department. Your cooperation in this matter for the enjoyment of the facilities by the Quelah Owner's and their guests is appreciated.
